Fetching Company ("we", "our", "us") is a Brand Intelligence API operated by Coding Agency, based in Meppel, The Netherlands. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use our services.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.

We collect the following types of data:

• API token identifiers
• Rate limiting and quota usage

Payment Information

• Billing details are processed securely through Stripe
• We do not store your full credit card number on our servers
• Stripe handles all payment processing in compliance with PCI DSS

We use ClearAnalytics as our privacy-friendly analytics provider. ClearAnalytics does not use cookies and is fully GDPR compliant.

ClearAnalytics collects anonymized usage data to help us understand how visitors interact with our website. No personally identifiable information is tracked, and no data is shared with third parties.

We use the data we collect for the following purposes:

• Service delivery — to provide, maintain, and improve our API services
• Billing — to process payments and manage subscriptions
• Communication — to send service updates, security alerts, and support responses
• Improvement — to analyze usage patterns and improve our services
• Security — to detect, prevent, and address technical issues and abuse

Your data is stored on EU-based servers hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) through Laravel Vapor. We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (TLS) and at rest.

We maintain appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

We use the following third-party services to operate Fetching Company:

• Stripe — payment processing and subscription management
• ClearAnalytics — privacy-friendly website analytics (cookie-free, GDPR compliant)
• Cloudflare — browser rendering for website analysis and CDN services
• AWS (via Laravel Vapor) — cloud infrastructure and data storage

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy and data processing agreements in place with us.

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

• Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
• Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data

We use minimal essential cookies for session management. No tracking cookies are used on our website. Our analytics provider, ClearAnalytics, operates without cookies.

The only cookies we set are strictly necessary for the functioning of the application, such as session tokens and CSRF protection tokens. These cookies are automatically deleted when you close your browser or when they expire.

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law.

• Account data — retained for the duration of your account and deleted upon request
• API usage logs — retained for up to 90 days for service monitoring
• Billing records — retained as required by Dutch tax law (7 years)

When you delete your account, we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal, operational, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the updated policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
